I was commissioned in the summer of 2013 to design a Unique trade stand for UArctic, an emerging university biased in northern Finland. Along with two other Finnish students we designed and made a stand that would embody the Arctic spirit and give the university the opportunity to stand out at the first international trade fair they would exhibit in Istanbul.
After design research and ideation we settled on the final concept which I was commissioned to then build and install.
The stand was on show for the first time at EAIE Istanbul 2013
I was evolved with the design from start to finish and coordinated the team of design and multimedia students involved. I was brought with the client to the conference in Istanbul to install and oversee the technical aspect of the design.
The stand was a hit at the exhibition drawing people into to the space and engaging them with the Arctic experience
